About Us

Money talks. And yet, for the growing number of small businesses, success is about much more than fast, flexible finance. It’s about talking money. It’s about the right expertise, at the right time. It’s about shared values, sounding boards and, most importantly, sound advice. That’s where MBE Capital Partners comes in.

Company

OUR HISTORY

For over 20 years, MBE Capital Partners has been a leading financial firm and dedicated partner, providing specialist financial advice, custom capital solutions, and expert guidance to small, diverse and often underserved businesses that find it more difficult to secure funding through traditional banks. Since the company was founded, we have been committed to social impact financing, realizing potential and helping minority-owned businesses navigate challenging times.

With over 40 banking relationships, we work with our clients to determine the right relationship that works for them. We are the country’s only Direct Lending Certified Minority Finance Company and the largest independent finance provider for small to middle-market in the US, Caribbean, and Mexico. Over the last three years (2019, 2020, 2021), MBE Capital Partners has financed over $7.65 billion in public and private debt. In 2020 and 2021, during rounds one and two of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), MBECP funded over 35,000 PPP loans worth over $830 million.

No matter what the future brings, MBECP is in it for the long haul. The good and bad. The wins and the losses. We’re building partnerships to withstand the ups and downs, and twists and turns of the road ahead, the road to success. Through loyalty and trust, we’ll make our mark, together.

OUR CORE VALUES

Minority businesses deserve to know and understand their financial options. After all, it’s financial decisions that make or break a business. But still, prejudice stands in the way of progress: black women owned businesses, for instance, are the least likely to secure funding. It’s time for change. We provide inclusive, non-traditional financing to help businesses of any kind grow and scale, based solely on their potential. There are no barriers here.

MBECP is a certified member of National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC), the nation’s leading advocate for minority-owned businesses.

As a trusted partner, we help businesses navigate the road to financial success, providing flexible solutions and access to resources that unleash vitality and create positive change. Consider us a confidant, a counsellor, a caring colleague. We have your back.

Our aim, is to be a catalyst for growth and innovation, partnering with corporations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations to help co-create their success, and the success of smaller businesses in turn. By working together, we are stronger.

Whether it’s supply chain or PO financing, we believe we have a responsibility to operate in the most sustainable way possible. If we’re to have an enduring impact environmentally and socially, we need to leave no stone unturned, no practice unscrutinized. We’re dedicated to keeping it green and mindful.
